A leading Marine Engineering design consultancy with established background in yachts, commercial and naval vessels and significant experience across all hull form types, propulsion systems and structural materials, the company utilises state of the art technology to provide innovative design solutions and consultancy services tailored to the individual requirements of owners, operators and shipyards worldwide.

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to provide a skilled contribution to the design team with excellent organisation and time management skills

Skills required:
• Systems and pipework modelling and draughting experience is essential
• Knowledge and understanding of Statutory Regulations, Class & Flag Rules
• Advanced skill level in 2D CAD (AutoCAD) to produce design information
• Experienced skill level in 3D CAD to develop and reference design information
• Knowledge and understanding of ship systems design, preferably with shipyard experience
• Experience of ship construction and systems detailing is desirable
• Shipconstructor and other production packages is an advantage.

This role is offered on a 6 month contract basis with competitive rates!
