Working within the marine industry, our client is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their growing and ambitious team! 
An outstanding collection of naval architects, structural engineers, stylists and systems engineers, their Design team continually strives to make any process informative and enjoyable for all involved.
Exuding a tangible passion for each project undertaken, their combined years of expertise in composite yacht manufacture and developing recreational boats and superyacht tenders result in an impressive portfolio.
 
Requirements & Responsibilities:
  • 3-5 years of experience (if you have less experience we encourage you to apply, as the right attitude will be considered) 
  • This role is a fantastic role for someone looking to step up and gain autonomy over designs. 
  • Core skills will be excellent 2D Drawing & 3D modelling, using Solidworks & Rhino.
  • This all around design engineering position will cover, but not limited to, the following
    • Composite design, tooling, laminate drawings, composite modules, yacht systems, mechanical assemblies, deck layouts, mechanical component such as folding seats, door, hatches etc
  • Design from concept through to production interesting and unique projects, a core understanding of production would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of composites (preferred)
  • Knowledge of yacht systems (preferred)
  • Driven, passionate about the marine industry, hands on experience would be desirable. 
  • Responsible to the Lead Designer 
 The successful individual for this role will be seeking to join a cutting edge design team, designing bespoke projects working with a fantastic team!
