Contract Design Engineer
One of the UKs' foremost boatbuilders is currently looking to expand its team with the addition of a Design Engineer.
The design office needs to expand to cope with the ongoing demand of the loyal customer base. Famed for building a very high quality product, this top flight employer is seeking someone with the drive and ambitious to work to the highest standards at all times!
Technical Skills Required:
· Experienced Siemens NX user
· Experience in yacht design (specifically composites, structures, and mechanical systems)
· Knowledge of yachts systems
· Knowledge of composite structures, build production techniques and processes
· Able to create parts lists and BOM lists
· Ability to create and update detailed drawings
· Liaise with Production to close off DCR's
· Proven track record of working with a team of designers and project managers
· Experience within a similar role for at least 2 years
In turn you'll be joining a company with an exciting selection of work to become an even more rounded designer and engineer, offering a great rate and a long term contract position (6 months).
