Marine Resources are seeking a senior project planner to join an established client who deliver Asset Management, Facilities Management and Energy Solutions across the maritime and defence environments.

Similar to the responsibilities of the project planner position we have advertised, this role is more suited to someone with extensive experience as a planner to undertake more senior tasks.

Some of the roles responsibilities include:
  • Stakeholder management – Integration of Design Management, Project Management and Client requirements
  • Full engagement with Programme/Project Managers
  • Project Planning/Scheduling
  • Liaison with the Project Management Office to assess impact to changes against infrastructure programme
  • Organisation of weekly schedule updates with Project Managers
  • Internal cost control, tracking estimated costs and correcting any discrepancies
  • Ensures project schedule dependencies, cost estimates remain current
  • Provision of statistics for driving KPIs/PIs to timely completion
  • Advising Project Managers of appropriate schedule structure
  • Prioritises tasks to ensure data integrity for specific reports
  • Advises on tasks required for adherence to policies and procedures
  • Assist in performing and delegating administrative office duties or projects as required or as assigned.
 
Experience required:
  • Use of Microsoft Project
  • Use of Microsoft Excel including ability to utilise formulae/pivot tables, etc
  • Understanding of project lifecycle
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint
  • Drafting and review processes (General Understanding)
