Composite Manufacturing Engineer – Southwest England
We have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading composite manufacturing company in the UK, who is looking for a Composite Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Southwest England.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Able to produce ply templates & foam kits from customer drawings and CAD data

• Aid in the creation and implementation of best practice engineering

• Mould tool, assembly fixture & manufacturing aid design as and when required

• Create manufacturing works instructions & visual aids. (lay-up/assembly manuals)

• Devise innovative manufacturing solutions

• Create Part Number’s, Routing’s, BOM’s on our MRP system in line with customer/process requirements

• Managing configuration control on projects you are accountable for

• Assist with cost estimation on new projects

• Always working on identifying improvement areas to help the organisation

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong understanding of industry best practise of manufacturing processes and procedures

• Strong working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD

• Lean Manufacturing technique
