The Mechanical Engineer will be a key member of this growing team, responsible for the design and engineering of a range of mechanical mechanism, electromechanical and hydromechanical systems and their associated bearing systems. Considering the leaps forward in maritime projects, these will not be basic by any means, expected to deal with huge loads, inclement weather conditions and be adaptable to various tolerances.

As a talented Mechanical Engineer, you will be highly experienced with the design of mechanical systems for use in high performance situations or heavy duty precision. You will be able to devise reliable and capable on-board systems that will be able to be produced within stringent cost and time requirements, but also easily adaptable to work with a wide range of control systems.

Degree qualified to the highest level, your experience will have ideally come from a high performance maritime, automotive or heavy duty precision background, giving you a strong understand of working highly innovative projects and a keen eye for innovative design projects. Strong experience in Parametric modelling & FEA codes, along with a proven track record of taking design from concept to delivery in a high pressure environment.
