We are looking for an experienced B2C Marketing executive to develop a marketing strategy to drive sales for our clients largest events.

To fulfil this exciting new role you will a great communicator with a passion for what you do. You will need to be confident working with event stakeholders, including partners, sponsors and exhibitors, as well being strategically minded to deliver exciting marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working with the Head of Marketing & Communications, develop, plan and deliver promotional marketing campaigns with the specific purpose of driving ticket sales, consumer and exhibitor attendance and promoting event stakeholders.
  • Throughout the year, take a lead role in writing, creating, delivering and overseeing regular and effective communications and content, across all marketing channels including website, email and social media.
  • Ensure that the website and App experience and content for all stakeholders are fully optimized.
  • Working with event stakeholders, including partners, sponsors and exhibitors, deliver a series of regular email communications and proactively work to grow the events email databases.
  • Working with event stakeholders, deliver a social media campaign, which sees an increase in overall engagement, reach and follower numbers.
  • Ensure that all reasons to visit an event, including stories and tailored itineraries by audience, are effectively promoted.
  • Establish and coordinate event related advertising, including out of home, print, radio and digital advertising.
  • Proactively secure marketing partnerships, including with other associations, businesses and the media.
  • Appoint and work with event agencies to deliver an integrated Marcomms plan for each event within the event portfolio.
  • Become the main point of contact within the Marcomms team for events related communications and needs.
  • Work with Head of Marketing & Communications to strengthen event brands. Become the guardian of the brand across all B2C collateral.
  • Provide marketing support in respect to delivering on event stakeholder, partner and sponsor commitments.
  • Support the PR & Communications Manager with PR, influencer and celebrity marketing.
  • Support with the development and promotion of themed events, i.e., Community Day, Schools & Careers Day and Press & Preview Day.

  • Prior events marketing experience is an advantage
  • Excellent copywriting skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Curating, writing and communicating highly engaging content, across the full marketing mix
  • Live and breathe social media.
  • Using email marketing and social media software and content management systems
  • Capturing and producing engaging video content is an advantage
  • Ability to use Adobe packages, including InDesign and Photoshop is an advantage
