Mechanical Design Engineer
Currently representing an innovative equipment manufacturing company who has shown continued growth year on year. They are now looking for an ambitious and talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding team based on the North Yorkshire coast. Working closely with the sales department to provide Tender drawings for clients.
Educated to BEng/HNC/BTEC in Engineering with at least 5 years' experience in a similar field, such as winch, crane, industrial gearbox, special machinery and manufacture
Providing detailed engineering, assembly and installation drawings and Bill of Material lists for the production departments
Be highly competent in SolidWorks 3D and stress analysis
A strong knowledge of computer stock systems such as Sage
Personal Specification:
The right candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter, have great attention to detail and require minimal supervision
Ambition and drive to take charge and manage projects
Experience in a project engineering environment
A confident problem solver able to use their own judgement
Outstanding communication skills for effective Client Liaison and dealing with commercial and management aspects of the role
