Commercial Sales Manager Europe: Based in the Netherlands

A global market leading marine coatings organisation are are looking for the next experienced high achieving sales person to join their team and grow their market-leading products to incredible new heights.

Territory: Europe.

Needs to be able to Travel to support certain industries and international shows for example SMM / Navalia etc.

  • Relevant candidates will have at least five years experience of selling into commercial marine applications throughout Europe such as ship yards, ferry operators, tug boat operators, crew transfer vessel operators, Superyacht ship yards, commercial ship yards, military and/or coast guard applications.
Nice to have, but not necessary:-

·Experience in coatings
·Technical background and understanding of paint
What works well in this area:-

·Someone who can network and convert leads to sales, but also will get in a yard and under boats.
With this role comes flexibility in work hours and independence.

The working base will be from a supported home based office but most of the time will be spent travelling to visit customers.

Part of the job:
·Promote and work to increase the use and sale of products to all agreed commercial markets.
·Maintaining and growing existing customers through sales strategies, support and relationship development
·Hunting new business opportunities and servicing them from lead to loyal brand advocate
·Sales, marketing, training and administration to ensure smooth running and execution of key business requirements in the region
·This person will be responsible for trade show set up, management and attendance with a focus on generating new business, with the support of EMEA sales director and distribution partners / shipyards.
·This person will be on the road weekly to do sales runs to service existing clients, new business contacts and support shipyards.
·This will be excellent at maintaining a CRM to ensure we are documenting and leveraging our technology to better serve our customers and opportunities.
  • This person will be the face of the company in the European commercial market and customers will need to feel that they can go to you for anything they need. A high standard of customer service is critical.
Package:-

Salary - 50000 Euro per annum
Company Car allowance provided
Mobile telephone / Home broadband funded
Bonus - 30% of basic - OTE 65000 Euro (Salary negotiable depending on experience)
