Electrical Specialist - High Performance Marine
Are you an electrical and electronics specialist with a knowledge or passion for boats and innovation in a challenging market?
We've recently partnered with a brand at the top of the performance yachting sector, a clear innovator who are keen to bring top flight technology to the marine world. Taking on new build and refit projects, the business operate mainly around the design and execution of electrical and control systems, but also have capability within the hydraulic and mechanical sectors.
Joining an already hugely capable team, the Electrical Engineer will take on cradle to grave responsibility for:
- Design of complex electrical systems and circuitry
- Programming of PLCs
- Hardware specification
- Travel to the craft to oversee and be involved in the installation process
- System setup post-installation
- Post handover support
The role will suit an experienced individual with a strong passion for high end systems and ideally yachting. Degree qualified in a relevant sector, you will be confident in system design and install, able to advise customers, lead colleagues and provide an all round top end service.
The role will be UK based but there will be an expectation for reasonably regular travel, usually to central Europe.
