Are you seeking a new challenge in the marine industry? My client is now looking to expand their team for Mechanical Systems Design Engineer!
We have a fantastic role available with a leader in the luxury boatbuilding world for a driven individual keen to further their career with a household name. Following some internal changes to the design and engineering process, this revered brand is on an upwards trajectory with new models due to launch in 2019 and an aggressive growth plan in place.
Reporting to the Design Team Leader, to produce detailed Mechanical/Systems designs & BOMs for production and 'as built' drawing packs.
Draught layout systems drawings for production.
When required, oversee testing, installation, and repair of yacht systems
Collating information for the as built' drawing packs
Strong knowledge of 3D Modelling systems (Siements NX or similar is desirable)
Working knowledge and passion for Marine Engineering Systems; including boat design standards & procedures
As an individual you will have worked in a mechanical systems design role previously and be keen to evolve your career within the marine sector. Keen to continue evolving the level of systems, you will also be abreast of industry developments and be keen to make suggestions on installation and design improvements.

Salary for the role will be £30-35,000 plus a range of further benefits.
