Marine Resource are working exclusively to find a marine focused social media executive for a leading marine brand near Portsmouth.

Our Client has gone from strength to strength in the last year and they are continuing to grow with big future plans, including their marketing department.

As the Social Media Executive you will work across our full range of social media accounts, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. For this position you will be reporting to the Marketing Manager.

The ideal candidate will deliver a coherent, consistent social media experience ensuring each account delivers on the agreed social strategy, maximises engaged reach with audiences and delivers content of the highest creative quality.

Role Responsibility:

• Create and curate social content for social media accounts, including the day-to-day handling of all social media channels.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop social media assets and plan/guide social media activity for both B2B and B2C audiences.
• Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms.
• Influence and implement the strategic vision and creative content in the social space.
• Manage and facilitate social media communities.
• Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights, Hubspot / Hootsuite/ Social sprout.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A track record of working in social media, developing, producing and delivering organic and paid for social media content and campaigns with an ability to prioritise and deliver results.
• Strong credentials that demonstrate experience of engaging and building online audiences, including developing, launching and managing new campaigns that promote the organisation and brand.
• Experience of using data and analytics to inform planning and decision making.
• Relationships with third party social media platforms and experience of working with tools to develop and optimise digital and social media content.
• Strong digital creative skills, across copywriting, photography and video with solid editorial judgement.
• Commercially aware, self-motivated, organised and proactive.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for social media.
• An interest in sailing or a marine industry background advantageous.
