Marketing Executive
Position Type Full-time permanent Business Area / Division Marketing Location UK - Gosport

We are looking for an individual who will feel as passionately about marine safety as we do and will work to support the delivery of our marine ambitions through marketing delivery.
Working with and reporting to the Marine Marketing Manager, alongside a team of marketing professionals, Sales Directors and regional VP's the main purpose of the Marketing Executive role will be to support delivery of the marine marketing strategy.
In addition to delivering several objectives required to meet our marketing needs across our chosen marine market segments, this role will focus and take ownership of the planning and execution of Survitec's marketing strategy for the passenger market including cruise and ferry customer segments.
Role Responsabilities:
• Work with the marketing and sales teams to deliver customer insight strategy with focus on delivering one face to face customer forum in year 1
• Work to ensure business CRM function facilitates effective customer communications and campaign monitoring
• Develop effective customer communications plan and deliver accordingly
• Increase digital presence targeted at our core market segments, focus on company website and tactical social media promotion
• Create copy to use in press releases, literature, thought leadership pieces and video as required, work with the technical teams to ensure accuracy
• Plan and execute marine based events and exhibitions as required
• Support the launch of new products, services, campaigns and sales initiatives with the required marketing deliverables
• Seek and coordinate sponsorship and advertising activities to help build the company brand and build customer relationships
• Coordinate photoshoots to ensure current, high impact imagery and video for use in various advertisements and promotions
• Support the Sales Directors and Regional VP's with marketing materials to support their sales growth agendas
• Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses
• Create PowerPoint presentations and for sales department
Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required:
Skill Set:
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
• Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
• Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
• Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
Education:
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar position
• Bachelor's degree in a Marketing discipline at an accredited school preferred
Travel Requirements:
• Travel up to 30%
• Overnight travel is required and occasional weekends when needed
