We have a fantastic new opportunity at an innovative and forward thinking Design Studio.
Designing boats for the power craft market as well as catamarans and other vessels from concept to delivery! Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Designer to integrate into the team and work alongside senior designers, gaining experience and skills across a broad spectrum of yacht design disciplines. An incredible opertunity to learn from a very experience team of designers! 

Main responsibilities:
2D & 3D drawing for production
3D Modelling
2D Drafting of interior Joinery
3D Systems Design
 
You would get to:
Take preliminary renderings and GA’s and turn them into full production drawings
You would learn production techniques over time but initially would be drafting alongside Senior Designers, learning from the best!
You would get to liaise and support production project managers working to time-scales and under pressure.
 
Skills and Qualifications:
Degree qualified in Naval Architecture or Yacht Design
1 Year plus industry experience
Use of Rhino, Solidworks or other equivalent software required
Composite material manufacture and engineering experience is desirable
Experience with Joinery would be desirable
