The RYA is the national body for dinghy, yacht and motor cruising, all forms of sail racing, RIBs and sports boats, windsurfing and personal watercraft and a leading representative for inland waterways cruising.
Our aim is to deliver the most successful leisure and small commercial vessel training schemes in the world. With almost 50 years' experience in delivering both practical and shorebased training to more than 250,000 people per year, the RYA is the world leader in this sector.
This exciting role supports the continued growth and development of the RYA Training schemes globally. The successful applicant will take on responsibility for managing the RYA shorebased training scheme particularly ensuring course content and training material remains relevant and accessible to the boating public.
Collaboration with internal and external subject matter experts, and other stakeholders, including the RYA publications team, eLearning team, and three practical chief instructors forms an essential part of this role. We seek someone with experience of recreational or professional use of small craft, who also has experience of developing support material and/or delivering training. An eye for detail is essential as is the ability to work as part of a close knit team. Flexibility and adaptability are also a must for this role.
Salary:
£35,000 - £37,000 per annum (dependent upon experience)
