Business Development Executive, working for a leading organisation within the leisure marine / super yacht sector who provide a comprehensive market intelligence application for the super yacht industry, providing real-time, accurate and reliable data on the super yacht industry.

Working in a small team in a high profile and dynamic organisaiton, the Business Development Exectuive will be tasked with building relationships with organisations that sell products and services into the super yacht sector in order to sell a yearly subscription to the service they provide. This service provides information on super yachts (24M+) compiled over the last two years (and ongoing) relating to yachts built over the last 20 years (and ongoing). The information relates to: global order books; size of boats; yard where built; construction data; country registered in etc.

Target clients who would utilise this key information via the subscription service are companies across the super yacht supply chain providing products and services including marinas, manufacturers and suppliers of ancillary equipment and services, engineering companies, provisioning companies etc.

The Business Development Executive will be predominantly office based and will be tasked with:-

-following up on leads via Salesforce generated by the marketing department
-speaking to and interacting with potential clients to sell the service via telephone, email and Webex
-pro-actively contacting potential clients via outbound cold calling
-attending shows, events and conferences including Monaco Yacht Show, Cannes Boat Show etc to meet with clients and potential clients
-achieving activity and revenue targets on a weekly and monthly basis

Competitive salary (depending on experience) and monthly commission

The ideal person for the Business Development Executive role will be a Graduate with a 2:1 or above ideally gained in a Business or Marketing related degree who is comfortable with data and between one year and three year's experience of B2B sales. A passion for, and knowledge of, the super yacht sector is critical as is having the soft skills, ability, self belief and gravitas to engage with clients/potential clients and build relationships.
