Marine Resources are looking for a technical Project Manager to join a company at an incredible stage of expansion in perhaps the most exciting market in the industry!
 
Our client is spearheading the electric powertrain movement and after an incredible few years of growth are looking for a Project Manager to meet their continual and increasing business.
 
This role is ideal for someone with a fantastic electrical understanding and passion for the industry.
 
You will represent the company in all dealings with clients for products and installations across both new build vessels as well as retrofitting systems, from sale to handover.
 
The Project Manager owns the overall plan for the on-time execution of product delivery and installations to the agreed cost, specification, with the agreed variations.
 
As a Project Manager, you will be the conduit between Technical Staff, Sales/Aftersales, Directors and customers, ensuring the company will deliver the products and services to the customer.
 
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
  • Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems.
  • Ability to read, interpret and steer technical engineers on alterations of schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of the marine industry
  • Competency in power system design and operation
  • Competency CAD software
  • Competency Mechanical theory
  • Competency in CAN or RS485 protocols is a bonus

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Provide technical input and checking of drawings and documents.
  • Prepare effective design outputs and contribute technical guidance to projects as required.
  • Support both team and personal Continuous Professional Development by demonstrating an awareness and understanding of advances or emergent technologies.
  • Maintain an understanding of project hours, programme and costs to ensure project deliverables are achieved as efficiently as possible.
