Assistant Yard Manager 
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join a leading Marine Services organization as an Assistant Yard Manager. This role is integral to our boat in-service support business, offering a unique chance to contribute to our growth and success.

About the Role:
As the Assistant Yard Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our organization. Your responsibilities will include implementing operational procedures, managing the production team, and contributing to the overall financial performance of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing standard procedural documents for daily operations. Your role involves supervising staff performance, organizing training and development programs, and conducting employee appraisals to enhance the capabilities of our team.
You will contribute to the site improvement plan, ensuring the optimization of our facility, and play a key role in implementing health and safety procedures to maintain a secure working environment. Additionally, you will oversee quality assurance procedures to meet industry standards and review departmental budgets to contribute to our financial management.

Qualifications/Skills:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree, HND, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven people management skills and the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
  • Strong business acumen in business planning and management.
  • IOSHH/NEBOSH certification.
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills for effective communication.
