Geotechnical Civil Engineer

Role Overview:
As a maritime engineer with significant geotechnical expertise you will lead the technical delivery of projects including but not limited to the following: Design of piles, retaining wall, embankments, foundations including permanent and temporary works. This will involve the production of calculations using recognised design standards, assessments utilising proprietary software, the production of drawings, specifications and associated technical documents to support the design process.
Other technical requirements may include structural engineering, project management managing the design team.

Due to the dynamic and growing nature, you will also be required to contribute to the development of the business, it’s aims and improvement agenda.
This may include, but is not limited to, production of procedural documents, technical notes and training to other team members, business development activities, and promotion of the business.
At times your role will be client facing, involving project management, client liaison and stakeholder engagement. From time to time there will be a need to attend site visits to inspect or manage site activities.
