To work within the test team, supporting the wider business, in the testing and qualification of their pipe product and associated componentry.

-Perform mechanical testing of thepipe product and associated end fittings.
-Conduct standard and bespoke testing of the pipe product and associated end fittings
-Operation of mechanical test machines for composite and metallic materials test and evaluation
-Preparation of test specimens and rigs, ranging from telemetry set-up and calibration to test cell assembly
-Prepare documentation in support of testing activities including: test plans, procedures and reports
- Support Test engineers and other departments on testing and development activities
-Operate certain workshop equipment for test preparation purposes including simple machining/finishing of specimens


Desired Skills and Experience

-Education - Mechanical Engineering HNC / HND or equivalent qualification in engineering
-Skills - Microsoft office, interpretation of technical drawings
-Experience - Testing, mechanical engineering, materials.
-Experience with data logging equipment, pressure sensors and other instrumentation desirable
