Junior Buyer - Boatbuilder, Southampton
We have an exciting opportunity to join a growing marine manufacturer based in Southampton. Producing a range of luxury craft, the brand have been enjoying great success of late and are seeking a skilled buyer to work closely with design and production teams to procure items in line with the production schedules and Bills of materials.
As part of a small team you will be expected to work closely both internally and externally to make sure that a wide range of items, from raw materials to large mechanical parts are correctly ordered at a suitable price and that they are delivered in line with the boats overall build schedules
You will need to be used to ordering for a low volume/high value manufacturer and be confident working with suppliers to reach suitable conclusions to all requests. You will be working within a small team.
